If I request a screen, I know when I'm done looking at it. Lately on some of the screens (Demographics and some others I can't remember right now) the screen will be displayed but then after a few seconds the screen closes with out my clicking anything. It would also be nice to name these units and/or add a comment (Bravo unit, advance guard against French invasion). Obviously clicking on a unit should allow going to the map.

It should show full details about the unit: home city, location, current task, experience level, attack/defense/hit points, etc.

It would be nice to have a tab similar to the nations tab that would list all the units in ones empire that can be commanded to do something (workers, settlers, explorers, spys, diplomat, military, etc.). I'd like better to show a line and highlight the tiles under it to make clear the path and ending square. This is a personal opinion, but I find the red line to show movement ugly. Some modal messages, such as the government selector to start a revolution, use more screen space than available, and can't be scrolled, so the accept or cancel button is placed off screen. They can be ordered by every column, though. The table on the cities tab can't be scrolled down. On mobile there is no button for next or previous city, and it would be really helpful. Production queue could be improved allowing drag and drop to order items. Units labels (HP) sometimes are hidden under the label of a city, even when the unit is selected. Log messages are extremely useful on small screens, it would be helpful to have a way of showing the log in fullscreen.
It also centers the view on a unit when it's selected, which limits the field of vision to plan a long movement. When the last unit finishes its movement the map centers to the capital city. Sometimes a unit is selected and ordered to move while sliding the map. I play mostly on mobile, Chrome browser, and PBEM, so take my experience as limited:
